              How the HeatMiser Works

When it gets cold or when you turn up the thermostat, your heater lights. Then the heat exchanger within your furnace gathers the heat from the burner flames and a device inside your furnace then turns on the heat blower. The blower moves the warm air into the duct work, out of the vents and into the rooms of your home or office. After a few minutes of operation, your furnace begins to create more heat than the unit can exchange. The excess heat travels upward through the exhaust vent stack and escapes through your roof.

The PowerSmart HeatMiser automatically senses the efficiency of the heat exchange to the indoor air. It constantly makes adjustments to keep the heat in your house where it belongs – not flowing out of the vent stack through your roof.

PowerSmart HeatMiser is designed to easily install on forced-air furnaces using natural gas, propane, or heating oil. It works seamlessly with your existing thermostat without impacting existing safety devices on your furnace.

The HeatMiser comes to you with every thing you will need for the "do-it-yourselfer" installation. Included is a brief  2 page graphical instruction guide written that any Man or Woman with a 5th grade education, can easily complete the installation. We will not use the term CAVE MAN. . .  

You may also have you own Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor install these products for you, although they were designed with the home owner and do-it-yourselfer in mind...It's always good to have a Contractor come out to check your Heating and Air Conditioning system at least once a year. A small fee on an annual tune up WILL always pay for 
itself in energy savings through out the year.

If you wish to have your system tuned up, oiled and inspected - "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" - Here is what you do after you get your "HeatMiser" and our other products you ordered delivered. Immediately Call your Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor, request an appointment for your system to get tuned up, oiled and inspected and ask their dispatcher to let you speak to the Service Manager. (His job is to coordinate what Technicians go where) 

Inform him that you have a couple of add on products that you would like him to install while at your house, and refer him to our website www.powersmartnow.com so he may become familiar with our products. Let him know the additional work should take less than a 1/2 hour of his time. That means "tell him to write down the website".   

The reason for this is the last thing you do is get a tune, oil and inspection Technician over to your home or business and then spring more work on him. These guys are different from a Service Technician. Why?  Tune, oil and inspection Technicians are specific tasked in most shops and focus only on  tune, oil and inspection. Trying the "while you are here" could you put these on, is a disaster in the making. So let the Service Manager know what's really up, and everyone will be happier. I'm sure he'll match our installation price, during regular hours, when you schedule this in!
